Animation Kitchen was co-founded by Chris Cvetkovich and Uyen Nguyen. Chris has more than 20 years of experience as a graphic designer, animator, and artist, and even a longer career eating good food. Prior to founding Animation Kitchen, Chris produced videos for technology clients such as Seagate and Intel, and before that worked as a 3D environment artist on award winning titles for the XBOX 360 platform. A lifelong passion for food, however, propelled Chris to launch Animation Kitchen, a boutique visualization studio that puts a special emphasis on developing informative and promotional videos in the rapidly changing and increasingly high-tech culinary field.

Uyen's background is in science, investment and product management. Her love for technology and science started when she was young (ie. she spent years in high school, undergrad, and grad schools pinned to science books and computers). She was a technical scientist for Silicon Genetics (now Agilent), where she was responsible for teaching microarray data analysis to researchers and scientists worldwide. Some of her clients include academic institutions such as Stanford and UCLA, and biotech and pharmaceuticals such as Pfizer and Novartis. After going back to school to get her MBA at Berkeley, she became an investment professional, specializing in technology start-ups and high-growth companies. She loves being around entrepreneurs, and recently decided to collaborate with Chris to start Animation Kitchen so that they could be entrepreneurs too.
